We received the following information from The Lesch-Nyhan Page (Association for Rare Diseases Mauro Baschirotto).
"At B.I.R.D. ONLUS (Baschirotto Institute for Rare Diseases), for the first time in Italy, labs are now able to make molecular diagnosis for Lesch-Nyhan Disease. The risearchers of the Institute have recently found out new mutations in the Italian families that were never described in literature. The Institute is now able to make molecular diagnosis and genetic counselling."
